Working in the ICT department, were are responsible for ensuring the availability of services to the taxpayers at all times. we provide a lot of our services over the web, such as submission of tax returns online, and hence we are always concerned with the trends and challenges facing online businesses. We play a big part in shaping the future of use of technology for service provision within the Kenyan Goverment. We are also a member of the KIXP where we exchange a very large percentage of local content. Connectivity to the internet is handled through our ISP's who provide us fibre connectivity from our office to the internet. our countries main connection to the net is through either the SEACOM or TEAMS undersea fibre.
